千呼万唤，终于等到小学组！

怎样才算表现出对一件事儿的热爱，一天背100个单词根本就停不下来，算不算对自己的热爱最好的交待！都说，兴趣是最好的老师，而对兴趣最好的热爱，就是从不间断的练习练习，这就是王之栋，第15届中国日报社“21世纪·新东方杯”全国中小学英语演讲比赛全国总决赛小学高年级组冠军，北京市门头沟区大峪第二小学五年级学生，沉浸英语学习完全不能自拔！

其实我的内心是紧张的，别告诉我你看出来了，但我想让世界听见我的声音。

一个中国小朋友的骄傲

记得去年在游颐和园的时候，一群大学生模样的外国游客请求妈妈帮忙拍照，妈妈让我询问清楚。当我用英文和她们交流的时候，她们非常吃惊。

我酷不？

只有热爱远远不够

去年暑假，为了早点结束全部课程去姥姥家，妈妈给他每天安排了三科课外班学习，每一科都要求背诵，有一次，他的英语课文没背下来，这是他觉得最难堪的一次了。

后来，老师要求背诵的课文，我就用手机录下来，在车上反复听，这样就再也没有背不下来的。

认出我了吗？没错，就是最右边的小狐狸~我和同学们一起表演英语短剧。

磨练之后就是享受

对于英语我越学越爱学，现在学英语已经是一种享受了。因为它不但是语言工具，更是我打开世界的一扇窗户。我觉得就像有人喜欢去卡拉OK唱歌，有人喜欢打麻将一样，英语就是我的兴趣，所以学起来感觉不到累。我每天都保证一个小时的学习，使用百词斩从来没间断过，就连春节期间也不例外。我一天能背100多个单词，也听英语歌曲，看原版英文书。总喜欢的书是《书虫》。

小小年纪，大大志向

通过学语文，不但能学会字词义，而且还能学会做人的道理。唐诗、宋词我都喜欢。现在我每天跟着一个公众号学一首唐诗，还跟着另一个公众号学一句宋词。《中国诗词大会》和《朗读者》都是我喜欢的电视节目。

热爱学习的王之栋还非常希望可以把自己的知识分享给其他人，除了在班级里为同学们解答疑问，他还有一个志向是将来要做一名幼儿园老师，把自己的所学都教给孩子们。

Me in the eyes of my teachers and friends

Hello, ladies and gentleman! I think in the eyes of my friends and teachers, I can basically be described in two words: intelligent and generous.

First, why do they say I’m intelligent? Well, my classmates all say that I am like the Magic Lamp from Aladdin, and can help others to solve all the problems that they have. And they definitely have a lot of questions. Whenever there’s a difficult question in class, and no one’s able to solve it, the teacher and students will all turn to me. My mom always complains that during 6 pm, when everybody’s doing homework, my Wechat would be buzzing non-stop because everyone has questions they want to ask me.

Secondly, let me tell you something about generous. You probably don’t know this, but I’m the shortest boy in my class. This means there are classmates who use every chance bully me and call me names, many of them will even wave their homework high so I can’t collect them. They nicknamed me after a famous snack brand called Milaotou, and the name traveled far far beyond my class. I was feeling so upset and confused. Why did it happen to me? Did I do anything wrong? Should I get back at him? In the end I decided to ignore them and not respond, when my teachers found out about it, he praised me for being a generous person.

I’m very grateful that my teachers and friends think so highly of me, but despite my intelligence and generosity, I sometimes still feel hurt when other students bully me. I hope everyone can work together to stop bullying in school, as everyone is special and wonderful in their own way. Thank you!
